GOING UNDER THE KNIFE?

That's right folks, I have gone under the knife. I wish I could say that I got new boobs or a tummy tuck but I can't. The reason for surgery is for a foot injury I have been dealing with for the past year and a half. For those who don't know, last June the kids and I were at the grand old Seven Peaks water park. I was holding Isaac who was like four months old and was pregnant with Josh (when have I never not been pregnant). I was on some steep cement steps and they were slippery and I slipped on them and try to stop myself with my heel, and Isaac's face. I let it go for months thinking it would heal over time put it didn't. I finally went in and for three months walked around in a boot, but it didn't work. Because I was prego they really couldn't do anything more until I had my baby. Anyway, to make a long story short I recently found out that I chipped my bone and because I wasn't treated right I have had to have surgery on it. It hurts like crap and I have to be very dependent on others which is driving me nuts. But I am so grateful for Greg and all the help and love he has given. I have to be in a cast for three week and I can tell you right now it is going to be three very long weeks.

Hidding the grapes

Isaac loves grapes, he also LOVES this little gray step stool we have so the kids can put dishes away. You will find Isaac with that stool at any given time, standing on it thinking he is that much bigger and loving every minute of it. I found him the other day on his little stool eating the grapes that I had just cleaned. He realized there were little opening that were just big enough to fit the grapes down and they would magically disappear. He thought it was every interesting. When all was said and done he clogged the drain with grapes. It wasn't the first and it won't be the last.

Giggles from Josh

No matter how bad your day is going the laugh of a child will always melt your heart and you will always find yourself laughing along with them.

Here is Josh at seven months old sitting in his walker , his cousin Adrian had a sword in his hand and would run toward him and hit his chair. Josh thought it was the funniest thing ever (as you can tell) . There were a few close calls, but it sure was funny

Painting the house

Does anyone know a good shrink? We have decided to paint our house and what a job. For those who don't know we have moved and it is our new house we are painting. We knew when we bought the house we wanted to paint it, but I thought we would never get to it. We started looking at colors about a month ago and had to go through about seven colors. Lets just say the paint store knows Greg by name. Once we decide on our color we rented a power washer and washed the whole house. That was fun, and easy. With 10 gallons of paint and we got started. So far we have only had accident, me falling off the latter. I'm okay, but I have the biggest, ugliest bruise you have ever seen, and I think I gave Greg a heart attach. We have most of the front done and a little less the half the back done. If any one wants to know I do not suggest painting your house. I do have to say we are having alot of fun doing it and I can't wait for the finished result.
