Cracked The Pine Wood Derby Code?

I'm so proud of our Megan. A couple months ago we did a "daddy/daughter" pinewood derby for Activity Days at church, and she came in 1st Place!!! It was truly a miracle for those of you who know how skilled I am in wood-working LOL!

Now that we've cracked the pinewood derby "code" we're gonna take every derby by storm!
Anyway, we are happy that Megan had a good time, and even happier that I had the chance to spend some good daddy/daughter time together...good job Megan! Love Dad.

Chrstmas Eve Ice skating

Every Christmas Eve we like to go out and do a family activity. For the past two years we have gone swimming at our local into pool. This year the Xanthoses invited us to go ice skating with them. We had a lot of fun. This was Isaac's first time going and he has a blast. His skates were tiny and he loved wearing them. He thought he was all that plus a bag of chips. One of the funnest thing was Santa came for a visit and Sarah thought that was the best thing ever.

Happy Birthday Isaac!!

Happy Birthday Big guy! Isaac has made it through another year. We feel lucky that we can say no major injuries and he's as healthy as a whistle. He is trying really hard to be a good big bro, but that seems to be a real challenge for him. He doesn't' seem to like to share his toys with his little bro and is getting pretty familiar with the many corners in our house as he visits them often while he is in time out. We love having Isaac as part of our family. He bring much joy and happiness to our lives. He is a good little boy and loves life. It is fun to watch him grow and discover new things very day. I am so gratful that I can be apart of his wonderful life.

Joshua is 1!!!

Joshua has made it to the ripe old age of one!! Congrats big guy. Josh is such a joy to have in our family. He is full of love, peace, happiness and is a constant reminder to me that life is full of wonderful surprises. I am so grateful that the Lord knows exactly what we need and when we need it. He knew how much we needed Josh and when we needed him. Having babies one year apart is full of it's challenges, but it has way more joys and fun times that out weigh the hard times. Thanks to all for your love, help and support. Here is a small review of the last year of Joshua's first year.
